The Christmas Gift

This year Blake went all out for Christmas and spent months huddled over the parts of a Quadracycle that he built from a kit for the kids. We kept it in our bedroom with the door locked until Christmas day and the kids were so excited to ride on it. They have spent hours riding all over the neighborhood on this thing and it gets them outside enjoying each other. It is a bit of an upkeep issue with four tires and lots of parts and tons of kids riding on it. The kids love it and are enjoying it a ton. Found them outside late Saturday night with a big flashlight for their headlight, had to let them know that it was time to park it in the garage.

And this is what happened when Sophie and Jaxson went out in the rain Sunday evening to ride through the rain puddles. They hit a bump, Jaxson's foot slipped off the peddle and all the skin got taken off by the tire. It is very sore and bloody.

  2. Hey Trina,

To answer your question about my name on my wall, I made an adventure race for two of my friends, Matt & Todd, and part of the challenge was a photo scavenger hunt, in which they had to spell out my name with random objects. They creatively decided to use the letters from fast food establishments. They simply cropped the photos, glued them to black paper and taped them to my wall. It was awesome. The entire race took them 7 months to complete. SO much fun!
