Jaxson really wants his own kitten, I really don't want any more cats. So we found a great compromise, Foster Care. We are fostering a pregnant cat for the Humane Society, after we have loved them and socialized them they will be adopted out to families who do want more cats and we can do the whole thing over again if we want to. Jaxson signed the papers so he is responsible to care for the mother cat, which includes cleaning out the litter box twice a day. When I told him it was time to help, he ran to the drawer and pulled out a clip for his nose. Didn't last long, it really hurt his nose. Hope those kittens come soon so that his enthusiasm for caring for a cat will return.
What a funny kid! And in case you were wondering, I still don't like cats, so don't try to pawn any of those kitties off on me.
