The Cache Humane Society called and offered to let us syringe feed 4 motherless kittens every few hours until they are old enough to eat on their own. How can you say no to that when your 8 year old son is jumping up and down with joy? The kids have done a great job of feeding and bathing those tiny meowing critters and they are ever so cute. The great thing is that when they are old enough, off they go to real homes and we go back to our old dog and two cats who only need food plopped in a bowl twice a day!!
Wow, how did they get your number? I remember I did that for a puppy, once. I was really sick at the time...Denali saved my life by giving me something to live for. I hope your kids have as good of an experience as I did...although I don't know how that's possible with CATS. What a great family. :)
ReplyDeleteYou posted; yea! It's nice to hear some news from the Smiths! :) That first picture is a little scary, but the others are pretty cute. Your kids are already so good at giving service; I'm sure these experiences can only help with that.
